Fall is when Clarence really shows off. Whether you're thinking about moving here or you just moved in, here's an easy way to spend an autumn weekend like a local.

Saturday Morning: Main Street Treasure Hunting

Start early at Antique World (11111 Main St), where the outdoor flea market runs Saturdays and Sundays, 7–4 in season, and the Clarence Hollow Antique Mall has 40+ vendors under one roof. Next door, The Great Pumpkin Farm (11199 Main St) is a seasonal favorite for families.

Saturday Afternoon: A Walk Through the Leaves

Pick up the Peanut Line Trail, a paved former rail line running east from near Transit Road, or the West Shore Trail through the Main Street Town Park. Both are flat, easy and tree-lined, perfect for a leaf walk or a bike ride.

Sunday: Into the Woods

For a quieter walk, head to Beeman Creek Park (parking off Parker Road via Salt Road). Its wooded trails follow the creek, with a butterfly garden by the trailhead. Or look for wildlife at the Clarence Escarpment Sanctuary.

Sunday Evening: Dinner on Main Street

Wrap up with dinner or a cocktail at The Humbert House (10622 Main St), in a building that dates to 1864.
